Mayaguez is located on the west coast of Puerto Rico on a narrow plain, with hills and mountains to the east. It is served by the highway PR 2, which runs from San Juan in the northeast to Ponce in the south.
The studio is located in the centre of the city, on Calle del Rio, in the ground floor of the Casino de Mayaguez building. The cathedral, the Plaza Colon, the town hall and the Centro Cultural are between the casino and Calle Mckinley by the yellow block.
